Find Out Exactly Why Your Website Isn’t Converting the Right Clients
A complete review of whether the right people can find your site, and whether it actually convinces them once they arrive.
You've probably had a free SEO audit before. It flagged page speed, a few broken links, maybe a missing meta tag. You left knowing what was technically wrong and no closer to knowing why the right people still aren't enquiring.
But they're not designed to answer something that I personally feel is more important:
When the right person lands on your website, do they follow the intended "Call To Action"?
What most website audits miss
Though important, a better heading structure and keywords are not realistically going to help your website generate more leads.
But making sure your content is written for the right audience will.
A typical website audit checks whether you can be found. But it usually stops at the search results. And never really look at what happens next: whether the page speaks to someone who is still weighing you up, or whether it reads like a pitch aimed at someone who has already decided.
Getting found is half the job. Getting chosen is the half that turns a visitor into an enquiry. That's why I've combined important SEO principles and the psychology of the customer journey into The Found & Chosen Website Audit.
What the audit covers
The audit runs in two halves. Found is everything that decides whether the right people, and the tools they ask, can reach your site at all. Chosen is everything that decides whether they pick you once they are on it.
Copy and messaging
Does each page open in the reader's situation or in yours? Does the language match where they are in their decision, or does it assume they have already made it?
Search intent alignment
Are your pages built for the queries your ideal clients actually use, and for the point they are at when they use them? A page written for someone ready to buy will quietly lose someone still working out whether they even have your problem.
SEO and GEO analysis
What your audience is searching, how AI search tools currently describe your business, and the gaps between the two. Off-site signals now count for as much as anything on the page, so the audit looks there too.
Conversion points
Where are readers being asked to take a step, and does the copy at those moments make the step feel safe and specific, or vague and open-ended?
Stage fit
Every page meets a reader at a particular moment. The audit scores your core pages one by one, flags where trust is missing, where the next step is buried and where people drop out long before they reach your contact form.
Who this is for
Established service businesses, coaches and consultants with a working website that isn't pulling its weight. Referrals convert, your clients are happy, you're good at what you do, and the site still isn't generating the enquiries you'd expect.
It isn't the right fit if your site is brand new, has fewer than three finished pages, or has technical problems stopping Google from indexing it. In those cases a technical audit or a fresh copy project is the better place to start. Get in touch and I'll tell you which one applies.
How the audit process works
Book and pay for your audit.
We have a short kickoff so I can confirm the pages, understand who the site needs to convince and gather anything I need to start.
I run the full Found & Chosen audit, site-wide and page by page, across both SEO and GEO.
Within five working days you get your PDF report and a Loom walkthrough of the findings.
What clients say
Ellen, a self-employed bookkeeper, had a website that wasn't bringing in leads. The copy was there, but it read like AI had written it and it didn't sound anything like her.
"I already had a website, but it was quite obviously AI wording and didn't stand out. Courtnie went through all of it and made sure it was relevant, consistent, and most importantly sounded like me.
That helps when people reach my website, and she's worked her magic so the content has the right wording for SEO too. More people will reach my site and see her fantastic work. I'd highly recommend Courtnie for your content and copywriting needs."

SEO Audit FAQs
A standard audit checks whether you can be found. This one checks that, then keeps going. It tells you whether your pages speak to where the reader actually is, whether they build the right kind of trust, and whether they move someone toward an enquiry or quietly lose them. Found and chosen, not just found.
The audit includes specific copy recommendations for the sections where the biggest gaps are. So I don't rewrite the copy for you, but I give you clear recommendations on what needs to change.
Possibly. The audit works best when there's something to read: some traffic, some enquiries, a sense of what isn't landing. If your site has been live under three months and your positioning is still settling, it may be premature. Not sure? Ask me and I'll give you an honest answer.
Access to your site, any analytics you have, and half an hour for the kickoff. You don't need to know what's wrong. Working that out is the whole point.
